Qualify to Donate
We appreciate your interest in becoming a plasma donor with Hemologics Research. To ensure the safety and effectiveness of plasma donations, we ask that all potential donors meet a few important criteria. Please review the following eligibility questions to see if you qualify.
Donor Pre-Screening Questions:
- Do you have any of the specific infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, or polyclonal antibodies required for plasma donation?
- Can you provide a recent, verifiable test result from your healthcare provider?
- Are you at least 18 years of age?
- Do you weigh at least 110 pounds?
- Is your primary residence in the United States?
- Can you provide two forms of identification, including a photo ID and either a Social Security Number or an INSN (Immigration Naturalization Services Number)?
- Have you never tested positive for Hepatitis C or HIV.
- Are you currently not pregnant?
- Are you willing to travel to a donor center to provide your plasma? (If you qualify and a center isn’t nearby, travel expenses will be covered.)
